Creamy-smooth home-made almond milk, is quick and easy to make.
You need a cup full of almonds,( leave them soaking in water in the fridge for around 1 -2 days. ) When you need some milk, rinse the almonds through a sieve. Put them in a blender and whizz up, then add 2 cups of water and whizz full speed for 1 minute, then strain through a cheese cloth into a jug and keep in the fridge.
A jug does one week. Add more water if you want it thinner, skimmed style.
The left over nuts I put into cakes or smoothies.
