Each year I open my box of decorations, and the warm smell of cinnamon fills my nostrils and images of cosy crafty days fill my mind. To make these everlasting cinnamon shapes you need :-
One cup of cooked apples we use windfall apples.
One and a Quarter cups of low grade cinnamon
Mix together to make a dough ball, Sprinkle down some cinnamon on the worktop to roll out shapes.
Put a threading hole in about quarter inch thick for some pretty twine.
This year I added some glitter in the mix, threaded them to make bunting.
Cook 2 hrs at 90 deg c.
Do not eat!!! Keep year after year.
