My girls are members of their local girl guide group.  They meet one evening a week and socialise with new friends of similar ages.  The girls have completed different badges, created new self challenges and they are proud to sew their badges to thier sash and show them off, giving them a personal sense of achievement.

Girl guides established in 1909, as Scouts was only for boys. Female empowerment has gradually grown even in my lifetime !!! In World War I and II they carried out a large amount of social action, which is still carried on today.  It is satisfying to support young women to do their best, and inspiring themselves to push their boundaries.
